$10 Bling Ring

Most of us can agree that sometimes we pre- judge and look over inexpensive items simply because they are not high end. That one cheap item can be way cuter than all the rest but still we opt for the rich in quality brands. The temptation of luxury is often hard to resist but sometimes when looking for small accessorie items like rings and earrings inexpensive can be beneficial.I took a chance on cheap and browsed for stackable and statement rings that were $10 or less. My goal was to find rings in stores that were not embarrassingly bland and so cheap that you could hear crows in the parking lot churping "cheap, cheap, cheap." For this post I used stores that I have previously used and even a few new ones. Although lower end items are fine for accessories retail, I would never advise anyone to penny pinch on every day pieces like jeans and handbags, that's just tacky.

Smooth Sailing in The Hamptons

I have decided to keep my post short and sweet and my ideal look longer in essence of The Hamptons feel. The Hamptons can be summed up in three simple phrases: classic American, laid back elegance, and fun in the sun. Although the Hamptons is usually bustling with long-time no see east coast persona's in the spring, it can also make for a great getaway on weekends. It has the exclusive easy going feel without the crowd of commotion in NYC and host a bevy of lunch time favorites, hot coastal beaches, and intriguing polo matches. I incorporated pieces that I felt were light colors, appropriate for Hamptons style and of course easy to browse clothing boutiques in. Two of the most well known Hamptonite pieces are large sun hats and wide rimmed sunglasses so obviously those are Hampton vacationing necessities.

Celeb-Inspired

I have always desired for my blog to have an interesting sense of variety and stray from being the usual run of the mill so I decided it was time for a makeover. I have so many new additions to the blog but my first add-on happens to be dressing celebrity and socialite on line. With every perspective person of my choice and perhaps of yours I will put together a look that is their dead-on style. Think of me as your new online celebrity stylist and guide to clothing that you may like because of seeing stars in these designs. Now that you have all the details, My first pick is Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice.Beckhams style is very polished and more than often includes mini's, cigarette pants, oversized sunglasses and sky high stiletto's. So the look that I have chosen for her is categorically correct and reflects the singer quite nicely.

Distressed in Alcatraz

Lately all my post have been about destinations that are at least an hour away from where I live and then It hit me that some of you may indeed be traveling to San Francisco. The pretty grunge look has San Francisco written all over it. In Northern California distressed is incorporated in all clothing from jeans to tee's and even shoe's. Nevertheless I tried to fit a lot of my pieces into that category. I wanted to maintain the biker grunge look but also add a dose of sweet femininity. I achieved that by adding accessories and fabric that was girly but still dark enough not to stray away from the main concept.
P.S
The weather in S.F is a little chilly (hence the photo) so sadly the bikini may not be necessary unless your hotel pool is indoors.

Boho+Glam=L.A

Home to celebrities of every status, fashion moguls, and runway models is Los Angeles. The famous "City of Angels" is a play ground to anyone whose anyone and even a few who aren't. Attractions in L.A are like no others. Fashion Hot Spots such as Rodeo and Melrose are great for a well deserved shopping spree and after all those mental calorie counting meals try local restaurants like The Grand Lux Cafe (order the Crab Cakes and Miso Salmon!)and Celebrity favorite Mr.Chows. If spending time in a crowded city doesn't scream with appeal visit Malibu or Laguna Beach for a little fun in the sun.A mini traveling perk is that the drive from Beverley Hills to Malibu is wonderful and great for bragging shots back home. Enough about what to do, let's get to what to wear. Los Angeles is known for its Bohemian and Glam Allure. For the Boho Look side with floral and loose fitting clothing and for glam create a luxurious feel with rich colors and flashy Jewry. For finishing touches add those oversized accessories us Californians are known for.
P.S
Can't wait to see you in L.A!
